Google has officially opened the door for developers to submit their extensions for their Google Chrome browser. The full process of uploading the addons, having them verified by Google and them going live has no timeline as yet, but we’re sure that it should be a professional and speedy process.

The acceptance process has been described by one Google employee as ‘completely automated’, however it is obvious that with the company’s current swing towards faster rendering websites and speed in their browser, plugins which hamper the user experience will not be allowed in to their official download area.
Google will be hosting all Chrome Extensions itself, and it has hinted that each one will be supported by a host of information, potentially including videos explaining how each will interact with your browser.
The Google Chrome browser has been available in its open-source format to developers for more than a year, and so they have had plenty of time to develop their products – we expect there to be a hole host of extensions ready to be introduced right now, which is great news for the users! Remember that we here at Chrome-Extensions.net will have all of the latest news, information and reviews about Chrome Extensions as soon as it is available!
If you’re a developer and you have a Chrome extension ready to upload, you can do so here: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/developer/dashboard

That’s only for developers.. :(
It will be open to the public soon enough!
